This product is used to treat symptoms of allergic reactions or common cold such as rashes, urticaria, sneezing and running nose, watery eyes, itching.
It is also used to treat upper respiratory tract disorders


Phenylepinephrine is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist
Phenylephrine is a decongestant. It is used to treat stuffy nose and congestion of nose which is caused by cold, hay and fever or another allergy.

Paracetamol is used to treat headache, muscle arthritis and tooth aches and cold or fevers.

Chlorpheniramine Maleate is H1 antagonist and is used to treat allergic reactions, urticaria and asthma.
It causes less sedation and less drowsiness.

Caffeine belongs to the methylxanthine class and it stimulates the central nervous system and makes the person alert and prevent tiredness.

Mechanism of Action-

Phenylepinephrine binds with the alpha-1 agonist and mediates vasoconstriction and mydriasis.
It increases blood pressure stimulates the vagus nerve.
Paracetamol binds to the cox-1 and cox-2 and inhibits then prevent the formation of prostaglandin synthesis.
Chlorpheniramine Maleate binds to H1 receptor and blocks the histamine mediated action present on the surface of mast cells and provide relief from the symptoms of allergy.
Caffeine increases the concentration of cAMP by inhibiting the activity of phosphodiesterase in the skeletal muscles of the body.
